“Lada: Cinta dan Persahabatan” is a docu-drama from Banten as a part of Bumi Rempah Nusantara untuk Dunia Festival.

It tells a story about a group of college students in Banten named David, Tasya, Aldi, and Ratih who found a book about a letter from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa to the King of England.

It talked about the shipment of 100 bahar pepper and 100 pikul ginger from Banten to England in 1664 as a symbol of love and friendship. It inspired them to trace Banten and research to complete their paper about pepper in Banten. It will take the audience to trace a museum and watch various arts and cultures in Serang, Pandeglang, and Lebak. In this journey, they re-experienced and found love, friendship, and notes hidden by the history of every place they visited.
