“Lintang Kemukus” is a performing art from East Java as a part of Bumi Rempah untuk Dunia Festival.

The representation of traditional fabric pillar which is strongly related to Nusantara Spice Routes, is shown in the form of contemporary art documentary video, which presents works from several fashion designers, including Cementhik Studio, Citrakarya Mode, Lemari Lila, and Afif Syakur. They’re presented in dance choreography by Kinanthi Sekar Studio.

The shape of spices like nutmeg, ginger, curcuma, star anise, pepper, and tendril patterns of flora became the unique and strong characteristics of the works. Patterns and shapes have a significant and primary role in the contemporary art documentary video, for visuals have a more dominant portion in this fast-paced and digital world.
