The Peak Event of Bumi Rempah Nusantara untuk Dunia Festival

Friday (29/10), the Peak Event of Bumi Rempah Nusantara untuk Dunia Festival was officially held. Taking place at Akshobya Park, Borobudur Temple area, Magelang, the chosen Laskar Rempah from 34 provinces in Indonesia enlivened the event, along with the Pamong Budaya Ahli, and other government officials. In addition, the Director-general of Culture, Hilmar Farid, and the Ministry of Culture, Education, Research, and Technology, Nadiem Makarim, also enlivened the event virtually. 

In his welcoming speech, Hilmar Farid affirmed the government's effort to strengthen the Spice Routes. He also urged that every level of society be involved. "In this case, cooperation arises, each of us can take a role to strengthen the Spice Routes. Actively spread the Spice Routes from various angles." 

The agenda was continued with the docudrama film screening from the Spice Routes knot Jakarta, Syahbandar Palang Dada dari Betawi, which also presented Nadiem Makarim, who played a role as the opening narrator. Next, the competition announcement, and the Laskar Rempah Mozaic videos made by the representative of Jambi were played. 

Following this, the video of Laskar Rempah's real action was played, presenting five representatives to come on stage. Here, Nicholin A. Wairissal, the representative from Maluku, stated her opinion, "We believe that we support each other. We, as the rising generation, must preserve Nusantara spices." 

The following agenda was screening the Laskar Rempah declaration video to respond to the Youth Pledge Day, October 28th. The Peak Event was closed splendidly with a dance performance of Mataya Indonesia by Mila Art Dance, followed by a group photo session.
